Wang Baoxi- Senior Advisor

Wang Baoxi brings over 25 years of expertise in international education policy, academic partnerships, and transnational program delivery. A highly respected education strategist, his career has spanned pivotal roles in government, higher education, and private enterprise, with a consistent focus on advancing Sino-foreign academic collaboration.

He began his professional journey at the Tianjin Office of the China Scholarship Council (CSC), a key government body under China's Ministry of Education tasked with developing elite global education pathways for Chinese students. His leadership extended to Nankai University, one of China's leading research institutions, where he served within the School of Economics. There, he played a central role in managing joint master's degree programs with globally ranked institutions such as:

- The Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University
- The College of Business at the University of Texas at Arlington

Wang Baoxi has also been instrumental in early-stage negotiations and coordination of international education collaborations between Chinese and overseas universities, with a specialty in institutional alignment and academic articulation models.

Since 2020, he has served in a senior leadership capacity within the Innovation Division of China (Shenzhen) Education Group Co., Ltd., where he leads projects focused on:

- Bilateral education cooperation with Belt and Road Initiative countries 
- Globalising China's vocational education sector 
- Introducing and integrating overseas universities into China's Hainan Lingao International Education Innovation Pilot Zone

His strategic influence continues to shape policies and partnerships that broaden access to global education and elevate China's standing in international education cooperation.
